"This Very Special Feline Is Beautiful Inside & Out"
My wish for a Ragdoll cat began many years ago, while watching a TV program called "Burkes Backyard" when they road tested the Ragdoll cat. "Tia" was my first Ragdoll cat bought for me by my husband for mothers day.
I was so amazed by her relaxed nature for a cat, she loved our son Jake (only 4mths at the time). Tia just wanted to be around Jake and played with him ever so gently. Tia is retired now! Jake and Tia have a special bond, Tia is never too far from Jake and she always goes to bed with jake at bedtime. Tia began my passion with this very special feline!

We started as a small Boutique Ragdoll Cattery Specializing in the Ragdoll cat. We realized after a few years, that we needed to have more diversity in our breeding program, as related breeding was not an option for us. We have always selected our Ragdolls from impeccable lineage all tracing back to the original Ragdoll cats.
We understand that this is not an Australian breed and felt it was imperative to import to maintain this wonderful and special feline here in Australia, even though it entails a large monetary expense.
We have imported Ragdoll Cats from around the world and the lineage of our Ragdoll Cats are exceptional! Our Ragdolls Cats possess bloodlines from USA, UK, Canada, Japan, New Zealand and Sweden. These bloodlines are unique to our Cattery and we have carefully selected our imports from exceptional breeders. These breeders share the same vision as ourselves and have entrusted us with their precious Ragdolls.

Our Mission Statement..
Our Ragdolls cats are firstly our pets and their needs are needs are paramont. We pride ourselves on our integrity and have always maintained a holistic approach in our Boutique Style Cattery!
My many years of breeding Ragdolls combined with my extensive background in Nursing, Animal Husbandry and Animal Studies, has proven to be advantageous. I have breed generation after generation in some of my Ragdolls, always selecting our special Ragdolls for their health, temperament and type. This has certainly enabled us to produce healthy, happy Ragdolls of exceptional quality.
When we select our special Ragdolls to continue the gene pool, I have always maintained a holistic approach, never forgetting temperament as this is what the Ragdoll cats is so renown for. We also continue to invest in continued genetic testing and to educate ourselves on genetic health to make sure that the Ragdoll cat continues to be a healthy, happy breed.
" A Happy Cat is a Healthy Cat"
All our Ragdoll Kings & Ragdoll Queens are DNA tested HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) negative and Pkd (Polycystic Kidney Disease) negative. Also blood tested for FIV (Feline Aids) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) negative.
We have been advised by our Specialist Vet to test for these particular diseases, even though the percentage of infection is quite low with some of these diseases: we believe any test that gives us peace of mind, when our Ragdoll Kittens join their forever homes is invaluable.
We aim to share and preserve, the wonderful world called "The Ragdoll Cat"

She knew Anne Baker the creator of the Ragdoll cat, she even discussed our precious breed at a personal meeting for ANCATS Breeders and shared her knowlegde of Anne Baker and this special breed. It was so inspiring to here words of support from Kim Everett after she Judged my Ragdoll cats:"That you have done amazing things with Ragdolls here in Australia and you will continue to do so". Thank you Kim for you kind words and I am truely grateful to have meet such a respected International Judge and lady.
..Our Ragdolls are Stars Too!..
The quality, nature and breeding of our gorgeous Ragdoll cats, are highly desirable in the Advertising Industry. With Ravera Diesel, finding himself a new career as a top model. His ability to be so flexible and calm in his new surroundings, has made him the perfect model in any arena, paired with any new companion. The Professional Photographer and Advertising staff, were amazed with, and even more so, when they discovered, Diesel was an Entire Working Male.
I have added the link above for the History and information on the Ragdoll cat. It is by TICA (The International Cat Association) which is American based. This is were the beautiful Ragdoll cats originated from.
Ragdoll cats have a very laid back and gentle disposition! They enjoy following their owners/family members everywhere, even if it is to the bathroom. Ragdoll cats' are great with children and tolerant of other pets. Enjoying any company, even if it is the pet bird in a cage.
Ragdoll cats are a indoor cat, they enjoy inside living and are very happy keeping the lounge warm or being a shadow. All the above characteristics and traits, explains why they have been referred to as the "dog of the cat world". Being overly friendly and not too apprehensive makes it quite dangerous for them to be outside unattended.
Their coat texture is similar to rabbit fur and is generally an easy care coat only needing brushing once a week, possibly a little more with their winter coats.
..Our backyard & pets..
Some of our Ragdolls (Fern, Phoenix and Gypsy), Missy (Duck), Bantams (Chic, Chook and Pumpkin) and Jack our Chihuahua all enjoying our native gardens"
Being avid animal lovers! we have a few extra members to our extended family. All our pets enjoy our backyard and have no problem in sharing it with each other!
We pride ourselves on our prestige design of our Cattery and our beautiful native gardens, specifically designed for our precious Ragdoll Kings & Queens. Our Ragdolls do enjoy outside living due to it being a cat safe area. This gives them time to soak up some sunshine, play and roll in the dirt if they desire. They also have the opportunity to ingest extra nutrients from the native grasses etc: We believe this has been a major factor with the happiness, health and the high quality of our Ragdolls.
